Description:

This method calculates plasma membrane potential (ΔψP) time course based on previously determined baseline potential, know potential during established K-equilibrium potential or MDC treatment and kP using the FLIPR Membrane Potential Kit from Molecular Devices (aka PMPI, plasma membrane potential indicator). This method does not require measurement of FLIPR fluorescence during complete depolarization.
Required experimental protocol: baseline, followed by any time lapse, followed by establishment of known K-equilibrium potential.
