Parameters:
Name |
Short Name |
Type |
Description |
Window Width |
width |
integer |
Size of width x width quadrangular kernel. Larger value gives more smoothing |
Deriv. Order |
deriv |
integer |
0:smoothing; 1:dx, 2:dy, 3:dx2, 4:dxy, 5:dy2 ... |
Poly. Order |
polyorder |
integer |
Larger order gives less smoothing |
Description:
Performs 2D kernel filtering (smoothing or differentiation) on each frame by a two dimensional Savitzky-Golay kernel. Savitzky-Golay kernel filtering works as a polynomial smoothing.
If the order is larger than possible for the given kernel width (defined by its width), the largest possible order is used instead. The "Window Width" has to be an odd number, even numbers are incremented. "Deriv. Order" specifies x and y partial derivatives as follows: 0:smoothing; 1:dx, 2:dy, 3:dx2, 4:dxy, 5:dy2 ... The "Polynomial Order" has to be at least the sum of the derivatives.
